Bright blue was never Phil’s colour; with his inky stains of black tattoos all over his skin, he felt the contrast would be too much - and then he met Dan.
Dan is lavender, and blue, and pink and flowers in his hair and tied onto his shoelaces and his hair is the colour of bubblegum today yet tomorrow it’ll be a sunset.
Phil might never wear a pastel pink shirt, and his jeans will probably always be black, but he’s started to realise that Dan is all the colour he needs in his life, injecting and scribbling his rainbow personality onto him every day is the best colour he can wear.
